PINCH MINER — Mac · Windows · Linux
===================================
Miner for the Pinch network (chain ID 5261646). It asks only for your reward address; it never asks
for a private key or a recovery phrase. The Pinch node (core-geth 1.13.0 + PINCH-STAKE-1 rules,
version 1.13.0-pinch.3) is downloaded on first start from the Pinch site and checked against the
SHA-256 pinned in pinch_miner.py. The mining dataset (DAG, ~1 GB) is prepared on first start.

Mac : double-click "Start Pinch Miner.command" ("Pinch Miner Status" / "Stop Pinch Miner" are in
the same folder). If macOS says "unidentified developer": right-click the file → Open.
Windows : double-click "Start Pinch Miner.bat" (Status / Stop .bat next to it). Offers to install
           Python if it is missing.
Linux : python3 pinch_miner.py start --address 0xYOUR_ADDRESS
           python3 pinch_miner.py status | stop | service install
GPU : add --gpu to start (no CPU mining). The node then serves Ethash work at
           http://127.0.0.1:9560 for a getwork GPU miner, e.g. ethminer -P http://127.0.0.1:9560
           See https://pinch.network/docs/gpu-mining.html

MINING RULE (PINCH-STAKE-1, from block 20,000)
- The reward address must hold at least the mining threshold T. T is 0.25% of the supply mined so
far, capped at 25,000 PINCH: about 2,500 PINCH at block 20,000, 12,500 at block 100,000 and
25,000 from block 200,000 on. Below T, blocks are not accepted by the network; the miner then
pauses mining automatically and keeps the node in sync.
- Reward per block = scheduled reward (50 PINCH, halving every 2,100,000 blocks) × tier:
    ≥ T → 50% ≥ 4×T → 60% ≥ 8×T → 75% ≥ 20×T → 100%
- No uncle rewards after activation; issuance stays within the 210,000,000 PINCH schedule.
- "Pinch Miner Status" shows the current threshold, whether your address is eligible and its tier.

UPGRADING FROM AN EARLIER VERSION (required before block 20,000)
1. Run "Stop Pinch Miner" (or the old stop file) once.
2. Unzip this package into a new folder and start "Start Pinch Miner" from there.
Your address and chain data are kept; the new node is downloaded and verified automatically.
3. You can delete the old folder afterwards.

- By default half of the CPU cores are used. Mining pauses on laptop battery and resumes on power.
- Data location: Mac ~/Library/Application Support/Pinch · Windows %APPDATA%\Pinch · Linux ~/.local/share/pinch
- PINCH exists only on the Pinch network (chain ID 5261646); it is unrelated to tokens named "PINCH"
on other networks. PINCH is created only by mining. This is not an investment offer.
