Put your hardware
to work.

Mine native PINCH to your own reward address. Start with the miner package, check your eligibility and follow your work on-chain.

Current release · 1.13.0-pinch.3

Start mining

  1. Choose your public reward address and check its eligibility below.
  2. Install Python 3. Download and extract the miner package into a new folder.
  3. On macOS, open Start Pinch Miner.command. On Windows, open Start Pinch Miner.bat. On Linux, run python3 pinch_miner.py start --address 0xYOUR_ADDRESS. Follow the included README.txt.
  4. Open Pinch Miner Status to inspect your address, balance, tier and peers. Use Stop Pinch Miner to stop.

Have an Ethash graphics card? Start the node with --gpu and connect a getwork GPU miner. See the GPU mining guide ↗.

The package downloads the node client and checks its embedded SHA-256 hash. Initial Ethash DAG generation needs time and disk space.

Check your reward address

This check reads public network data. It requests no transaction or signature.

Upgrading an existing miner

Stop the existing miner first. Extract the new package into a new folder, keep your wallet and chain data, and use the same reward address. Upgrade to 1.13.0-pinch.3 before block 20,000.
